The birth of Elami was unintentional.

We never set out to start a business. We originally joined forces while bringing the TEDx brand to Bali and creating TEDxUbud. It quickly became clear that we had to turn our hobby into a company.

While setting up our business legally in Indonesia, we turned a garage into our creative space (pretty much like Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak but with girl touches), and have slowly grown our team. Elami, which is an anagram of our names (Daniela and Mila), is now Elami Productions; making us very lucky to work with some of the most talented people in Indonesia.

If you have ever attended one of our events, you know we enjoy making things happen, paying attention to details, watching new relationships develop, and fostering creativity.

Our passion lies in elevating ordinary events into extraordinary experiences.

Using all five senses, we design to build community and creative collaboration.

We design for Indonesia and to showcase its amazing craftsmanship to the world.

We design to be environmentally conscious.

And above all, we design to inspire and connect people. There is something magical about that.
