Behind the design: a dinner for Visa Infinite x Room4Dessert
/In honor of Room4Desserts’s 21st birthday, we were invited to create decor for two events being held with Visa Infinite as part of the celebrations.
The first was a dinner for 40 people, held inside Room4Dessert’s beautiful dining room. Working with a existing palette of pink and copper, the rose gold theme of Visa Infinite was a pleasure to design. Pink and navy led the overall look, with pops of metallics.
We created a tropical floral installation on either side of the copper bar with Sandat Florals, elegant navy and pink linens by The Host Table, and handmade Balinese origami dragonflies, crickets and birds with Udayana Art Space to complete the look. Hand lettered place cards by Michellaenous.
Guests arrived through the Room4Dessert garden, passing edible plants on the way to cocktail hour in the L’Hort area of the restaurant. We added lotus lamps with LED candles, small florals on Balinese dulang stands, garden lighting and a archway for guests to walk through.
We wanted to make sure the Balinese identity and spirit of the location shone through and that the food and guests chefs were the main focus of the evening.
